Synrad首创“全金属管”技术开创了密封式CO2激光器在诸多工业应用的先河。20年来，在性能、可靠性、长寿命和低成本方面，一直保持其在工业方面的领先。Synrad激光管坚固的箱体设计给激光谐振腔提供了超稳定的平台。48-series激光管安装在H形散热体也作为驱动电路的底盘，保证激光器能够适应现代工业恶劣的工作环境。
全金属密封设计和专属的加工方法确保了最高的气体纯度，从本质上延长了工作寿命。在全世界安装了70,000台激光器后，Synrad是唯一能以其工作寿命超过45,000小时(之后，仅需简单和廉价地充气后就可完全正常工作)的CO2激光器而自豪。
Synrad激光器能够以0-100% 的占空比工作，以信号的脉冲宽度调制(PWM)来控制激光功率，直接通过TTL信号控制(后面板BNC接入)。另外，也可以用DB-9连接提供远程控制，来实现所有的功能，如激光控制、故障状况监测、远程自锁、故障停机等。
所有的48-series激光器都可通过标准的30VDC电源供电，48-1和48-2型既可风冷也可水冷。
功率输出有10W、25W或50W，都有OEM版本或钥匙开关控制。Synrad的48-series激光器以其高性能、高可靠性和低成本，是激光打标、雕刻和小型的切割系统的理想选择。
