2 General Description 

This photon pair source generates time correlated photon pairs at 810 nm via Type-I spontaneous parametric downconversion in a BBO crystal. The down-conversion process is driven with the integrated 405 nm pump laser achieving a photon pair rate >10 000 pairs/s and a photon-heralding probability of >25%.
