The PLUTO phase only Spatial Light Modulator (SLM) consists of a driver unit with standard digital video interface (DVI or HDMI) and a phase only LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) microdisplay with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixel) and 8 µm pixel pitch leading to an active area diagonal of 0.7” with aspect ratio of 16:9.

The PLUTO-NIR-010-A version enables at least 2π phase retardation in the 420nm-1064nm range. The display is equipped with a broad band AR coating that enables low front reflection in this broad wavelength range. Even though the PLUTO-NIR-010-A can be used from 420nm to 1064nm it is recommended to use the VIS version in the visible range as the AR coating and response times are better. Its fill factor and reflectivity is 93% and 75%.
