The LDC-3714C Precision Laser Diode Controller combines a precision laser diode current source with thermoelectric temperature controller. The integrated dual current range, high stability, and low noise current source allows for maximum output currents of 50mA/100mA.

Multiple levels of laser diode protection include slow start, adjustable current limit and compliance voltage, intermittent contact protection, and output shorting relays. The integrated 32W thermoelectric temperature controller will typically achieve temperature stability within ±0.004°C.

For automated testing applications in an R&D or production environment, remote operation is easily accomplished through the GPIB/IEEE-488 or USB remote interface.
