根据不同的需求，该产品根据C&L-band带宽调节范围和边缘陡峭度分为3种版本。其中，超精细调节版本（Ultrafine-Plus）的边缘陡峭度可达到1000dB/nm。可以通过远程控制或触摸面板实现带宽及中心波长的设置，内置的功率监控器可以找出滤波带宽中的峰值功率；支持的控制接口有：GPIB、网口、USB，兼容SCPI标准。OTF-980也可以通过触摸面板控制。
