Our patented cam-lock post holders feature an easy-to-use quick-release cam-lock mechanism that distributes a large force evenly against the post. When locked, the post and post holder are nearly as solid as one piece and offer stability that rivals our fixed-height riser. Use the Model9910 post-holder pedestal base and holding fork to mount these to the table, or use a standard mounting baseplate like the Models 9912 or 9914 .

The Cam-Lock Post Holder: A Stable, Lockable Solution

We use a cam-lock mechanism in our patented post holders to grip a post so tightly that for all practical purposes you have a variable length solid rod. When locked, the post is wedged tightly against two (not one) lines of support. Clamping or releasing the post doesn’t introduce rotation and won’t move the post. When the screw is tightened, the assembly becomes an integral unit. This gives you much better stability than conventional post holders that only lock with a screw. Perfect when you need a stable yet adjustable height. For quick adjustments, just push the screw.
