ValuMax® Series Optical Post Holders are precision molded from a composite material with thermal and electrical insulating properties as well as an exceptional degree of thermal stability, dimensional stability, and chemical resistance. ValuMax posts and post holders are ideal for cost sensitive or non-critical mounting applications.
ValuMax® VPHV Series Post Holders feature a unique collet locking mechanism allowing the orientation of an optical mount to be easily adjusted with one hand. The pedestal base offers the flexibility of securing components anywhere on an optical table when using a PS-F Slotted Clamping Fork.
The VPHV-F model post holders include a clamping fork with the ValuMax® post holder of your choice. The post holders have an open bore, so that the post can be lowered completely to the table surface. The optional threaded insert, VPHV-A , can be threaded into the bottom of the post holder to provide a 1/4-20 (M6) threaded hole for attachment directly to an optical table or breadboard. They are sold in packs of 10. ValuMax series post holders can also be used with SP Series Posts.
ValuMax optical post holders are compatible with 1/2 inch optical posts like our Molded Composite Optical Mounting Posts, and Stainless Steel Optical Mounting Posts.
