When space is tight and stability is important, this family of Small 0.7 in. optical pedestals is the answer. Their compact design results in less occupied table space than our conventional-sized fixed pedestal system, yet their thick stainless-steel construction provides a stiffer connection to the optical table than conventional posts and post holders. Available in a variety of lengths from 1/2 to 2 inches, this small pedestal system is compatible with all our mounts, including the Tiny line. The Model 9942 has a 2-56 threaded hole on one end for use with our Tiny mounts and an 8-32 threaded hole on the other. Combining the Model 9942 Small pedestal riser with a Tiny mount results in an optic height of 1 inch.
