Our fixed-height optical pedestal risers can make the difference between a stable setup and one that suffers from vibrations. These 1 inch diameter stainless-steel risers come in a variety of heights, including 4 in. and 6 in. models. Combining the lowest pedestal riser (Model 9951 ) with the Model 9807 center mount results in an optic height of just 1.5. And, using our pedestal base clamping forks, these stackable pedestal risers can be clamped anywhere on a table or breadboard, giving you the flexibility of magnetic bases with far greater stability. Our 1/4 and 1/8 Model 9950 shims give you more control over the heights of your mounts.
If you need the versatility of an adjustable-height post system, but like the simplicity of our pedestal forks, you can use our Model 9910 pedestal base with your post holders.
These pedestals have a 1/4-20 tapped hole on top and an 8-32 tapped hole on the bottom. They are great for mounting instruments like our lasers or for raising mounting plates off the table.
