Low noise, ±15 V DC supply
Useful for powering amplifiers and detectors
Economical, simple to use
The 70703 is a simple, low cost laboratory power supply. We use it to power our preamplifiers and detectors with built-in preamplifiers. It provides ±15 V DC at 300 mA, and 5 V DC at 2A. The ±15 V provides power for the instruments listed in Table 1; the +5 V is used for our Pb and PbSe Photoconductor Sensors to power their built-in bias supply, or other laboratory instruments requiring +5 V DC.
Instrument | Model |
---|---|
Low Noise Current to Voltage Preamplifier | 70710 |
High Gain Voltage Amplifier | 70716 |
100 MHz Voltage Amplifier | 70721 |
Oriel Amplified Detectors | Various |
We ship these laboratory supplies with a 6 ft. (1.8 m) long cable for connection to the amplifier (or other device). The amplifier end has flying leads; the 70703 end has a triple banana jack plug compatible with the power supply.
