OEM Energy meters

We are using those meters in our lasers for laser pulse energy measurements. But their digital output also can be used as a signal source for shutters, mirrors actuators and other electromechanical stuff controlling devices.

As a photosensitive element, our OEM Energy meters employ a Silicon (GEM-SI) or InGaAs (GEM-INGA) photodiodes. The unit has a 12bit fast analogue to digital converter and a 38MHz RISC microcontroller.

Since for the data transmission we are using RS485 protocol, our energy meters are not sensitive to electromagnetic noise and reliably operates inside high repetition rate EO Q-switched lamp pumped lasers.

A wide range of optional glass filters (diffusive glass, neutral density or colored filters) can be mounted and locked by a washer-nut in front of the photo-sensitive head.

The Al-based mount of the OEM energy meter slides longitudinally on a vacuum-ground steel rail and is fixed in the desired position by a M3 Hex screw. In the transversal direction the rail has a positioning freedom of +/-12mm and is mounted to the host laser breadboard by two M4 Hex screws.
