The Micro-Focus Laser Diode Line Generators produce even intensity thin lines at precise working distances and are designed for applications where the utmost accuracy and precision are required. These modules make an ideal machine vision illumination tool for inspecting semi-conductor components, small pins, connectors, and resistors. Superior optical design yields a large depth of field and minimizes variations in thickness across the length of the generated line. Features include a rugged industrial housing, ESD protection, reverse polarity protection, over-voltage protection, and superior mechanical stability. All 5° models are certified CDRH Class IIIa, whereas 10° and 15° modules are CDRH Class II. 5V DC/3A Power Supply, required for operation, sold separately.
These modules make an ideal machine vision illumination tool for inspecting semi-conductor components, small pins, connectors, and resistors. A DC – 10kHz frequency range is obtainable by applying a 0 to 5V DC signal via the BNC connection on RG174 coaxial cable. The rise and fall times are both 10 msec and the modulation depth of the optical output is 100%.
