The RC2 remote control and monitor unit allows the user to control the Melles Griot air-cooled ion laser systems from up to six feet away. The unit connects directly to the remote connector of the laser system’s power supply and it is equipped with the following features: 

• Laser on or off switch

• Mode selection switches – operate or standby (minimum output power) and automatic current control or automatic power control

• Laser output power and current adjustment knobs

• Display of the laser’s operating current (A) or output power (mW)

NOTE: When used with the tunable ion laser systems the laser output power display will be valid for only one wavelength and product cannot be used for the tuning of the wavelength values.
