High efficiency, high power separation of s- and p-polarization at UV to near-IR laser wavelengths. Ideal for applications requiring high laser damage threshold and high efficiency, these cube beamsplitters offer high extinction ratio for transmitted p-polarized light while reflecting > 95% of s-polarized light at a single UV, visible or near-IR wavelength. They are available in standard wavelengths from 266 – 1064 nm. Other wavelengths are available upon request.

High energy laser line polarizing cube beamsplitters are designed to efficiently separate light at a specific laser wavelength based on polarization, reflecting s-polarized light while achieving an extinction ratio of up to > 500:1 for transmitted p-polarized light.  They are manufactured using optical contacting of the UV-grade fused silica prisms, exhibiting a higher damage threshold than our standard UPBS and PBS laser line polarizing cube beamsplitters.  They are also more efficient in transmission, and can achieve Tp > 98.0% by compromising extinction ratio slightly. To avoid damage when using a high power laser, be sure to orient the cube so that the beam enters the prism marked with a dot, as that is the coated prism.
• Transmission efficiency > 95% for p-polarized light
• 500:1 extinction ratio (Tp/Ts) for 532 or 1064 nm; 250:1 extinction ratio (Tp/Ts) for < 500 nm
• Optically contacted; suitable for laser power up to 25 J/cm2 @ 1064 nm
• Standard wavelengths span 266 – 1064 nm; can be customized for other wavelengths
