High power, broadband separation of s- and p-polarization with high extinction ratio. Designed to operate at the Brewster angle, these polarizing cube beamsplitters achieve > 92% transmission of p-polarized light with 1000:1 extinction ratio. They are available from stock for a 700 - 900 nm band, suitable for use with Ti:sapphire lasers. Other wavelengths are available upon request.

High Energy Broadband Polarizing Cube Beamsplitters are designed to efficiently separate light over a broad range of wavelengths under high power conditions.   Manufactured using optical contacting of the UV-grade fused silica prisms coated with dielectric materials, they separate light based on polarization, reflecting s-polarized light while transmitting p-polarized light with high efficiency.  These polarizing cube beamsplitters operate at the Brewster angle, resulting in high extinction ratio over a bandwidth of 140 nm or more.  To avoid damage when using a high power laser, be sure to orient the cube so that the beam enters the prism marked with a dot, as that is the coated prism.
• Optically contacted; suitable for laser power up to 5 J/cm2 @ 1064 nm
• 1000:1 extinction ratio at 1064 nm
• Transmitted and reflected beams separated by 117°; no angle tuning required
• Can be customized for bandwidths between 230 – 2100 nm
