Consistent, broadband splitting of light at wavelengths ranging from visible through NIR; polarization-insensitive. Designed for economical broadband power splitting and beam combining of any polarization at wavelength ranges from UV through NIR. The hybrid metal dielectric coating used in these cube beamsplitters makes them nearly angle and polarization-insensitive, albeit with moderate absorption. They are best suited to low power applications.

Broadband Hybrid Cube Beamsplitters are used to split the power of a broadband beam, or to mix two broad bandwidth beams into one.  Their wideband, low-loss performance is also well-suited to separating or combining beams of different wavelength in the same optical path.  A hybrid metal-dielectric coating offers 50/50 splitting of light at any polarization, but with moderate absorption.  This, combined with optical adhesive contacting, makes these beamsplitters an economical and flexible solution for lower power applications.  Broadband antireflection coatings on the cube faces reduce secondary reflections and ghost images.  Common applications include reference measurement and sensor technology.
