Broadband, high efficiency, high extinction ratio separation of s- and p-polarization for visible and near-IR. These broadband, high efficiency cube beamsplitters separate polarizations with an extinction ratio of > 500:1 for transmitted p-polarized light while reflecting > 99.5% of s-polarized light. They are available from stock for wavelength bands from 450 – 2000 nm for use at moderate power. Other wavelengths are and dimensions are available upon request.

Broadband Polarizing Cube Beamsplitters are designed to efficiently separate light over a broad range of visible and near-IR wavelengths based on polarization, reflecting s-polarized light > 99.5% while achieving an extinction ratio of > 500:1 for transmitted p-polarized light.  This is achieved using high-tolerance coated N-SF2 glass prisms coated and mated using optical adhesive.  Their broadband, high efficiency performance makes them versatile for many applications, provided they are used at moderate power.  To avoid damage when using energetic beams, be sure to orient the cube so that the beam enters the prism marked with a dot, as that is the coated prism.
• Average transmission efficiency > 90% for p-polarized light
• 500:1 extinction ratio (Tp/Ts)
• Optical adhesive contact; suitable for laser power up to 500mJ/cm2 @ 515 nm
• Performance over a 250 – 1500 nm band; can be customized for other wavelength ranges
