Low power, high reflectivity broadband metal mirror for vacuum UV; 157 – 190 nm. Optmized for performance at 157 nm, these mirrors use a high density aluminum coating with dielectric overcoat to achieve > 80 % reflectivity at vacuum UV wavelengths, with high reflectivity extending through to the near-infrared.


Vacuum UV aluminum mirrors utilize our high density aluminum coating technology, and are designed for optimum performance at 157 nm.  They offer > 80% average reflectivity at vacuum UV wavelengths, as well as consistently high reflectance at visible and near-infrared wavelengths.  A dielectric overcoat minimizes oxidation and increases abrasion resistance.  All mirrors are coated on UV-grade fused silica, and are precision-polished for low transmitted wavefront distortion, low wedge, and good surface quality.  Certification of spectral performance is available for an additional charge.  Damage threshold is low, limiting their use in pulsed laser applications.
