Low power, good reflectivity broadband metal mirror for mid-UV through visible; 250 – 600 nm. These mirrors are enhanced for ≥ 85% average reflectivity from 250 - 600 nm using standard aluminum coating methods with a dielectric overcoat for protection. Average reflectivity of > 85% at visible and near-infrared wavelengths and good surface figure and quality makes them well-suited to general purpose light routing applications.

UV enhanced aluminum mirrors utilize standard aluminum coating technology, with an additional dielectric coating that preserves the reflectivity of bare aluminum in the ultraviolet.  They also offer > 85% average reflectivity at visible and near-infrared wavelengths, making them a good general-purpose light routing mirror.  A dielectric overcoat minimizes oxidation and increases abrasion resistance.  While the resulting surface is not as abrasion-resistant as our protected aluminum, it can be cleaned with care.  All mirrors are coated on N-BK7 glass, and are precision-polished for low transmitted wavefront distortion, low wedge, and good surface quality.  Damage threshold is 0.07 J/cm2 pulsed at 355 nm, limiting their use in pulsed laser applications.
