Laser grade cemented achromatic doublet for low/moderate-power; 415 – 700 nm. Specially designed for laser-beam manipulation and focusing at low to moderate power, these achromats are computer optimized for infinite conjugate ratio. These lenses are held to the tightest focal length and surface quality of all our cemented achromats, with minimal spherical aberration and coma at visible wavelengths.


Laser grade visible cemented achromats deliver optimum performance for low to moderate power applications like laser-beam manipulation and focusing.  Computer optimized for infinite conjugate ratio, they are manufactured to ±1% focal length tolerance from lead-free crown and flint glasses for excellent paraxial performance.  Surface quality is held to 20-10 scratch and dig to minimize scatter and stray light reflections, while the design nearly eliminates spherical aberration and coma.    These doublets are useful for broadband applications across the visible wavelength range.  They are also ideal for use at single wavelength at f/numbers where singlets fail due to spherical aberration.  We recommend these lenses for performance-critical and noise-limited applications.
