High energy harmonic separators are used to reflect a laser’s primary or harmonic wavelength with high efficiency while transmitting one or more of the primary and harmonic wavelengths.  Based on a high laser damage threshold dichroic coating and antireflection coated on the second surface, they are designed for use with high power lasers like Nd:YAG and Ti:Sapphire.  These wavelength-based beamsplitters can be used to cleanse a beam of an unwanted harmonic, for harmonic separation, or for applications based on second harmonic generation in materials.
